Located in the Pichincha Province of Ecuador, Pasochoa is a dormant volcano that reaches 4,200 meters in height. The mountain is known for its almost circular shape and well-defined crater. The area around Pasochoa offers hiking trails that pass through lush cloud forests and moorlands, providing panoramic views of the valley and other nearby mountains, such as Rumiñahui. The area is home to a variety of flora and fauna, making it a popular spot for nature lovers and hikers looking for an experience in an untouched natural environment.

  • Departure 07:00 a.m. Quito.
  • Travel by the Panamericana South towards the Chillos Valley.
  • Arrival at the hacienda  mettler and  start the hike.
  • Explanation by the guide for hiking up, 3 hours approx.
  • Time for photography, rest, hydration and box lunch.
  • Descent 2:00 hour approx.
  • Return to Quito.
