Quito, the capital of Ecuador, is situated in a valley surrounded by Andean mountains, at an altitude of approximately 2,850 meters above sea level. It is known for its well-preserved historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to rich colonial architecture, historic plazas, and baroque churches. In addition to its cultural heritage, Quito offers a vibrant cultural scene with museums, markets, and a lively nightlife. Outdoor activities such as paragliding from Mirador de Bellavista or Cerro de El Panecillo provide spectacular views of the city and surrounding mountains.

  • Drive to Auqui hill (3,000 m).
  • Theoretical and practical talk to start the paragliding activity.
  • Take off from Auqui hill.
  • Flight of approximately 15 minutes with ascent and descent maneuvers.
  • Landing in the Lumbisi pasture (2,400 m).
