The Cuyabeno, located in the province of Sucumbíos, Ecuador, is part of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Production Reserve, one of the most important protected areas in the Ecuadorian Amazon. This vast Amazonian ecosystem is characterized by its complex network of rivers, lagoons and tropical forests, which are home to incredible biodiversity, including pink dolphins, alligators, anacondas, monkeys and a wide variety of birds and plants. The Cuyabeno is an ideal destination for nature and ecotourism lovers, offering experiences such as wildlife watching, canoeing and visits to indigenous communities. In addition to its ecological value, the reserve has great cultural importance, as it is home to several indigenous Amazonian communities that preserve their ancestral traditions.
